This past weekend at the New Mexico FFA Leadership Conference, PJHS FFA members gathered to compete at the highest level for Leadership Development Events. Seven FFA members gave it their all and made Portales proud. We are ecstatic to share that Tessa Lee placed second in the state for Junior High Creed Speaking.

These state-level contests are extremely competitive; our students compete against the best of the best from schools of all sizes across New Mexico. Seeing Tessa come so close to the state title and watching the level at which the Opening and Closing team competed is a testament to their hard work and grit. Way to go Tessa Lee and PJHS FFA!
